Yeah, it was so nice! :D
I think messaging the winners was a good idea. Almost everyone got back to me on what they wanted. Three books I have at home were picked. I'm gonna send them through USPS tomorrow. (:

What do we want to do about it? Start that new rule next month? Or go back through the review so far for this month and change everyones points?

I thought we were doing the new page count after the quarter challenge was done? That way everything was the same..

I didn't even notice that.. but I thought we originally said that we would do new page count rules when we did the new quarterly challenge so everyone was on the same page
We should probably post the sign ups for April and the new quarterly challenge so that everyone can know that we have new rules for pages and stuff. At least sometime this week.. if not today

Sorry haven't been feeling well! I can post the sign up thread right now for april and the quarterly challenge. They are both on the google docs - right?

HA! FOUND IT! Message #894 on page 18
"So monthly:
Superhero in April-May
Anniversary (pagecount or something) in June
Fairytale in July
And then we can start brainstorming others.

I think copying it would probably be fine if we haven't deleted the other one. Lol.
We'd just have to change the rules to match the new point system.

That one was my favorite and I have a ton of series planned for April!!!

So you guys want me to copy and paste the old series challenge and add it for the new quarterly?
Series Challenge
Our third quarterly challenge is a series reading challenge. All you have to do is read books that are part of a series! Easy, right? Comment to sign-up and with any questions about the challenge.
Rules
*Books must be read and reviewed from July 1st to September 30th.
*Five detailed status updates can be used in place of a review.
*Books must be 100 pages to count.
*Novellas (less than 100 pages) that are part of a series will count toward pages only.
*Manga/graphic novels will count for pages only.
*Buddy reads must take place within our group.
*You must make at least 5 comments on a buddy read to get extra points.
Points
*Points for a book will be awarded based on the number the book is in the series. So book #3 in a series will earn three points.
*Max number of points for a book in a series is 7. So book #8 in a series would earn 7 points.
*Five points for every 1000 pages read.
*Manga/graphic novels count for ¼ of the listed page count.
*Two points for reading the group book of the month (each month the challenge runs) in addition to series points, if it is in a series.
*Buddy reads will double your points for that book. So a buddy read of The Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter #7), for example, will earn you 14 points.
