Challenge Corner discussion

I read a lot of books that fit for the CC challenge and not the YA because I didn’t have anymore books or keys claimed for it. But yeah it’s was a mixture of sleeping and reading. I passed out at like 9 last night because of my medicine and I’m still so tired from it. I’m on my third of fourth cup of coffee and constantly yawning.

Yeah, YA is getting tough on me now because all we have left are vowels and all the books I've been reading with you over there are such little books that there are no other editions. But whatevs. Our spreadsheet over there is a mess. So who the hell knows what's actually going on. Lol.

Here in CC though, I've been fitting all my books in both challenges. :D

Haha yeah. I’ve been trying to read the BRs we have I just haven’t finished them because of all the ARCs I have!! I’m going to get through them today though. After my audio book

It's okay. I've only just started book 4 of the Hellbound Lovers one. And I'm gonna finish those 3 books before starting Grace Street. So I probably won't get to that one until sometime this weekend.

Awesome. How do we want to do it? I know we talked about it a bit before, but do we just want to base it on the quarterly challenge or also incorporate points from monthly challenges?

So you want to do monthly and quarterly challenge numbers together? All three monthly plus the quarterly? I think that's a solid bet. Then if someone falls behind in the quarterly or a monthly then it can be easy to try and catch up with another monthly challenge.

Yeah, let's do it that way. I can't remember what we said for the price limit. Why don't we keep it at $10 for now.

Where should we post about it? And do we want to give whoever wins a week to claim it before we move to the next person?

I think we should maybe send a mass message to everyone at the start of the new quarterly challenge? And then when we post the rules/team threads for the monthly and quarterly challenges we can just add in there to remind everyone?

it's really anyone who has the time to make the chat and review threads to be honest. Once we have teams made up we can just upload the threads.

Guys! I WOKE UP TO SO MUCH FREAKING SNOW. I'M IN HEAVEN! So I was thinking before I dive into book reviews or reading books today - maybe we could come up with teams?

What do you consider fast? The ones with the most points right now that are signed up are: Me, Rae, and Lane. But people who read a ton of books a day.. would be Me, Rae, and Felicia.

Jennifer is a fast reader too and she signed up

And I was thinking of using team names that go with the superheros on the challenge.. but they aren't using their actual names, like:

Suicide Squad

The Avengers
Justice League

or something like that

Or maybe team names that have nothing to do with the heroes we picked, just for giggles:

Guardians of the Galaxy

Depending on how many teams everyone agrees on

I like the first set! That's great. Guardians could be with the first group if we go with the more teams option too. Sorry, I'm a Marvel geek. :D

I can also make the review thread for our quarterly challenge too. Once we figure out what we want team wise and name wise for our monthly

People who consistently read a lot is usually what I count
