I was thinking both. But since a few people have already checked in it wouldn't be right after the first post.

I usually just name them solo but I also usually forget to make their thread. lol. Oops. :P

I can edit my first post if you want. :) Or it can just be added in with the teams names.

message 1605: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Or Alaina, you could just update your first comment to include the reminders? And then we can include it again when we make the review threads?

So does this work?

**NEW RULE** For this 2-month challenge and our upcoming June one, we are doing something a little different. At the end of our Series Quarterly Challenge there will be one winner that wins a prize of getting to choose a book from bookdepository.com. They can pick any book up to $10.
For this to happen, we will be combining the points from this challenge, our June challenge, and our Series Quarterly together to pick that winner.**

Felicia | 15003 comments And the new pages rule too.

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
oh I thought that one would work more with the review thread but I can add it to the chat as well

message 1611: by Felicia (last edited Mar 21, 2018 10:03AM) (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Just review is fine, if you think. I just hope people realize the new rule change. We're gonna have to make sure we check everything now.

Before if I updated the scores I just kinda believed people wouldn't cheat or anything. I never checked page counts before. Terrible mod, I know. Lol.

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
lol I sometimes do that.. especially if it's like 2am and i'm exhausted

message 1613: by Felicia (last edited Mar 21, 2018 10:06AM) (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments I like that we're changing it to the most rated though. Because some page counts are like obnoxious. I seen a book that Rae read in YA she posted the biggest page count and it was like 1,600 or somewhere around there and the next highest was like 4x less in pages. That's a little crazy. So I like that we're switching. Makes it more interesting. :D

yeah plus it would be way easier!

message 1615: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Definitely. I hate searching through like 10 pages of books for the highest page count. Lol.

message 1616: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
yeah it's annoying plus it will be easier to see if everyone is actually picking the right one too

message 1617: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Right! I haven't been doing scores lately. Just been letting you. Lol. At one point I started updating because it had been a bit since you had, and I got like halfway through and was like fuck this. I don't feel like doing this. Lmao.

message 1618: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments It was crazy intense on this thread for a bit! Now back to reading again. Lol. :D

I'm not either but I look up page #'s for others a lot. You can make it a bit more manageable by changing how many books are on each page. I like to get in a grove where I kind of unfocuse my eyes. Helps me get through a lot faster.

message 1626: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments That;s why it's so good that we're changing! It'll make it so much easier on us to check things out.

message 1627: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I love classics! Some of them anyway. Mostly British ones.

It's been a little slow at work and I'm kind of out of it, so that was why I was on earlier. The crazy on this thread was fun.

message 1634: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments You still have "Comment to sign-up and with any questions about the challenge." in the post for the series challenge. :P

message 1635: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments And should we change the 'books read' column to 'book points'. Since technically that's where we would put the book number in the series points?

message 1639: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments No worries. It's all the reading you have to do to catch up! It's messing with your head. Hahaha.

Felicia | 15003 comments This is probably a stupid question. But whatevs. Lol.

What do we do for the series challenge when it's a novella and is like the .5 of a series. Like ACOFAS. Will we give 3.1 points for that book because that's what GR says it is in the series position?
