I know Alaina hasn't had as much time as she usually does to do reviews so we can expect a bunch of dumps when she has the time to write her reviews. :)

It also has some magical/magical realism elements right? So it could be used for that category.

Based on scores it looks like Alaina's team has the most people reading and posting. Obviously not everyone has finished a book yet, but I just used that to get a rough view of how many people seem to be missing.

Hmm. I don't think they could count as non-human, since I believe they are human. Not sure about mercenary. Possibly?

I was only thinking mercenary because wasn't the character in Shatter Me recruited by the army or whatever?!? And then Clary is a part of the Clave.. which protects the shadow world.. sort of like an army?

SADLY, I've read the book AND watched the show and still didn't know who she was xD I remember books and characters not so much authors all the time.

Totally off topic but not really since you mentioned Toronto. I am planning a weekend vacay in May for a trip to Canada! We were going to do Toronto. But have since changed out minds to NF on the Canadian side. I'm super pumped! :D

Toronto is wonderful. But like with all big cities I hate how many homeless people there are. :(
