Can Restore Me be used for deaf character? Just found out at the end of the book at one of the characters is deaf in one ear. If this won’t work that’s fine. I’m grasping. I just don’t want to use this on the third board. Lol.

Just added another of Rainy’s friends to her team. I don’t really feel like we can tell them no when they request her. So definitely no new random people to be added to her team in the future. 😁

After seeing your question about the translated book category, Felicia, I am curious about how those are being counted? It was intended to be a book that was translated into the language you are reading and that's what I've been telling people. Otherwise almost any book would count. Just curious how that is being calculated.

That's what I assumed was going on when someone put translated. Written in English but read in a different language or vice versa.

I don't know. I haven't read a translated book. Every book I've ever read was written in English first. So I don't know, personally.

Have you been checking that Alaina, when doing scores? I don't even know how to check that.

I won't be claiming that spot on my team because I don't think I'd read a book written in a different language first. Lol.

Yeah, Days of Blood and Starlight that Slytherpuff read on my team won't work either. So that'll have to be taken out.

How do you find a book that was originally written in another language from yours?

You can see where the author lives, like with the all of her books were translated into English. I also think some people have said that they read it in a different language too.

I can try to find a list of KU books that were written in another language. First order of business though is SS then post my review and then maybe breakfast depending on when my mom gets home. :)

There's not list or genre for KU that's been translated. I did find a book but it's not the kind you'd like. Just regular fantasy. No smutty.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad. Just the one book for Felicia and Books team didn't count. I only counted the round 1 ones since I crossed off the second round ones if they weren't accepted. Sorry for not catching those guys!!

You can also look at the original title, which is listed on the book's goodreads page. It's usually obvious if it's not in your language.

And you can blame work for everything. Speaking of, I better get back to it. Finals are evil.

Like the original title of Ruby Red was Rubinrot, because it's German.

Or that book that Amy Leigh read, The Book Jumper, was also translated from German. The original title was Die Buchspringer, which I quite love, honestly.

Yeah that’s true. I looked high and low to see if the books that were used for books round 1 could be used but I couldn’t. I mistyped felicia cause her round 1 was accepted. I think? Idk. I haven’t had coffee today and feel like I need a nap or food.
