Should I just copy and paste it?

Alaina, your scoring templates look perfect in the September Challenge threads, how did you do it?

Here is how I adjusted it. Pretty much the same. Just include that pre html code in either mine or Alaina's and it should be good.

Yeah, I think that will work. Just a heads up, I use a word document plus Excel. So I use Excel for calculating all the points so I don't have to use a calculator but I add all the numbers to a word document with the score template already pasted there. It helps you figure out how it should look when you copy and past it into the review thread.
I hope that helps you out. It has worked for me this month.

Yeah you have to add the <.pre> and the <./pre> to it.
So put the <.pre> with the lines before Name. and the <./pre> with the lines after the total points (the last possible line at the bottom). But without the "." before the pre. Like what C.P. said earlier.

Oh man, I hope I explain this correctly. So I will use one of the teams from this month as an example. I will explain what I did and then post what their current scores are. So again, I hope it makes sense.
So for example: let's look at Hogwarts.
So on Excel, I would have a category for name, points, BR, pages, and total points.
Then I would put each persons name under name.
Then for points I would give the points for each book. In the example, Trisha has read about 12 books so far this month. So that is her number.
For BR I would type in the amount of points (depending on what the scoring is for that particular challenge)
For pages, I would add up all of the pages that person has read. For example, Trisha has read about 4500 pages. (I rounded for the example).
Then for the total, I put in the formula: ((Pages/200)+points+BR+page point[this is depending if they reached 1,000 pages or not])
Also I totaled the Points, BR's, and Pages.
I also like to double check, to see if I'm completely correct or if I made an error. So for the total column I would add them all up together and see what the points equal.
Then I would use the total pages / 200 then add total points, total BR's, and then the total points from the people who read 1,000 pages or more.
I don't show that both columns equal each other when I post the score template, but on my Excel it shows.

It looked completely fine to me.

Thanks. :) It was my first time creating one on my own, so I just wanted to make sure.
I'm thinking maybe we should have each other's emails and have like one person create the score template on like word and another person create the score template on excel. So that way we can all use it. Just in case one person, or a lot, can't post the scores.
Just an idea.
And obviously the excel spreadsheet would have the formulas attached...except for adding the BR points and page points to the actual total number. Because those would have to change periodically.

= “books read cell”+”buddy reads cell”+(pages cell/200)
That’s how I did it. And then you can add whichever number in each cell, and it’ll calculate accordingly.
Oh yeah, like Salha said: I would just type in" =((pages #/200)+points+BR+1,000 page point) and that's how I did each total.

Well I would technically type in a formula for all of the total columns. So I only have to type in information into the Points, Pages, and BR Columns. Plus add the points depending on the 1,000 pages.

So for example:
Orriginal: 200
New number: 300
Output from excel: 500
=(200+300)
so every time someone adds a new review, you just keep adding the page numbers to the original

Good morning everyone! Did anyone post the final scores yet? If not I can look over everything and add them up! Do I post both team and individual? Or just team?

Yes, team scores and individual. :)

I use OneNote. :/

If it's easier for everyone I will just message the categories to you all. :) Probably a bit later this afternoon.

I love it! If you like how you can organize binders you'll love OneNote. It's basically a computer binder!! :D
I won't be near a computer in the afternoon so I'll comment either when I get home or tomorrow depending on how tired I am. :)

I might have to try OneNote now. Sounds pretty great!

I highly recommend it! ^-^

I use them!
I use them!

Say, you read like 40% during September, and you read the remaining 60% during October, can I count that for points?
Someone shared a review like that yesterday, and I counted it for points but forgot to ask you, guys.
