Not making any plans but will definitely try to make it to the S&L meetup.

Too many good things. I will probably change my mind multiple times.

I am also on the 9:20 ferry to Soumenlinna!

It looks like there is going to be rain off and on the whole week of WorldCon75. I am going to have to get a light rain jacket for the trip. It might be of the early morning/ late evening type of rain pattern, still too far out to be certain.

Any interest in an earlier informal meetup? Always nice to have some familiar faces before the festival is almost over.

I got a nice rain jacket. I must tell you anytime I prepare for rain it never does.

It is one that requires a swim suit as no one want to see me in the buff, including me. So the Tuesday plan is 4 pm rent the Citybike and roll around Helsinki until 8pm. The Loyly is right on the ocean so the " sit in the sauna, jump in the ocean" combo looks fun.

Clipping will be performing live on stage at #Worldcon75!
Clipping is an American experimental hip hop group whose album Splendor and Misery was nominated for this year's Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form) Hugo.
They will be performing Thursday the 10th of August in Room 101 a&b, at 20.15./8:15 pm .

I just arrived in Helsinki, I'll be visiting before Worldcon begins. The early meeting is a very good idea, you can count me in.
Thank you Stephen for organizing this.
see you in a few days.

A full week's trip for me!
( In competition with a GRRM signing and a Joe Abercrombie interview)
I am staying at the Scandic Grand Marina. It is a 15 minute bike ride from the convention or a nice 2 mile walk. Helsinki has a great City Bike program which I plan to take advantage of. Wed. Aug 8th I hope to take advantage of a group outing to the Historic Sea fort with the very long name, that is if the WorldCon people saw my email. ( I have a tendency to end up in the spam folder,)
I hope to see as many S&L fans as possible.
