So, what should we do?

Hmmmm I like your idea we just need a plot. have any ideas?

Uhm.
Well. I have a bunch of characters that I need to examine... I'm writing this novel...

Giuliano de' Medici is my main character. He's the Lord of Florence, and he's known for being really popular and athletic and elegant and stuff.
Lorenzo his brother, who is very scholarly and philosophical and quite ugly
Violetta Giorini, who is Giuliano's love interest - she's quite intelligent but her parents are trying to marry her off because she's 19 and they think it's ridiculous that she's smart.

so who would play who?

Idk... I can just use one of those characters and you can make up whoever you want :) because I've experimented with all of them together - I need to have them with other people... if you want, we can set it in modern day! That's always fun...

Job: A tour guide at an art museum
Other: She volunteers a lot at shelters, hospitals, kennels, etc.

Giuliano's eyes were very heavy. Very, very, heavy... but he somehow managed to open them. When he did, he found himself in a large room, sitting on a bench. The room was white, and there were paintings on the walls... he recognized them - there was La Nascità di Venere by Botticelli, and a bust by Verrocchio... Where am I? He thought - he was ignorant to the existence of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is where he was.

Islana walked through the museum, making sure everything was in place before they opened for the day. She smiled to herself as her eyes laid upon the amazing pieces of artwork. They always brought her some sort of comfort.

After he realized where he was, his chest started to hurt... it hurt so terribly! He looked down, to see if he was hurt, but he only found a strange jacket... what? What the heck was he wearing?!

Islana turned around the corner and saw Giuliano.
"Excuse me sir, how did you get in here? The museum's not open yet." Islana demanded.

What language is that? And how do I understand it?! he thought. "Signorina..." He said, "Non so... Dove sono..."

"Excuse me?" Islana asked, confused. She couldnt make out what he was saying at all!

"Where..." He managed to say in broken English, "...am... I?"

"You're at the Metropolitian Museum of art in New York." Islana said

"What?" He asked. "...new...York?..." How could there be a new one if he had never heard of the old one?!

"Where are you from?" Islana asked, worried. He looked absolutely clue less

"Firenze, Tuscana, Italia," he said simply.

"How... did you get to New York all the way from Italy?" Islana asked, looking at the man weirdly.

"I... What is New York?" His head was starting to hurt now.

"A state in the United States of America?" Islana said.

"America?" He asked. "Where is that?"

"Um... you know. What used to be called the New World?" Islana said, worried about the man.

He looked at her, eyes wide with confusion. "India?" He asked.

"No. It's where Columbus thought was India but ended up being a new country?" Islana said, frowning.

He looked at her strangely. "Columbus?" He asked - obviously the Latin form of the Genoese 'Colombo'; he had heard that name.

"Sir, why dont you know any of this? This, Im sure, is in all countries twenty-first century school programs." Islana said, very concerned.

"Twenty first?!" He gasped. "Not... What?! Is the some kind of trick? First attacking me at church and then putting me here? I know this is all you, Guglielmo!" He shouted to the ceiling.

"Huh?" Islana said, kinda freaked out. "What are you talking about?"

"Madame, what is your name?" He stood cautiously.

"Islana. And you?" Islana replied just as cautiously.

"Giuliano de' Medici," he said, bowing a little. "A pleasure, Madame."

Islana blushed a little. "Yes, do you know at all what you're doing here?" Islana asked.

"No..." he said, "I... was at church...."

"What do you mean?" Islana asked, confused.

"I was at church - Santa Maria del Fiore - it was Easter..." he said, "Do people not go to church in the '21st century'?"

"No, we do. It's just... I dont get how you could get from church to here since the nearest church is 30 minutes away." Islana explained.

"It was in Firenze..." he said, "Florence, I mean... that's what you call it in this language?"

"Yes... wait what?" Islana demanded, extremely confused. "Have you been on any drugs?" Islana asked.

"Whats?" he asked, "Medicine? No, madam, I not ill."

"Okay. This is crazy but what century are you from?" Islana asked, rubbing her temples.

"I was born in 1453," he said, straight faced.
