What does summer mean to you?

For this challenge, you choose how you want to represent summer in your reading.

Suggestions:

*You can spell out a phrase that brings to mind the summer months
*You can do a thematic challenge where you represent summer with books that have summer scenes, take place during summer, include titles that reference hot weather, etc. etc...
*Build a reading list out of your summer to do list

1. Books must be read between June 21 and September 21, 2014. (of course you can backdate the challenge to June 21st since it was posted late).
2. You can sign up at any time.
3. Books read can overlap with any other challenge on the group during the time period of the challenge.
4. Books can only count once.
5. Please post that you are signing up and an update of your final stats when you are finished.
6. Enjoy your summer reading!

I will sign up. I want to read books that have a summer theme. I have Susan Mallery's books from last year & this year, the Beach House #9 series by Christie Ridgway, I guess I can count Lisa's Friday Harbor books, of which I only read the first Christmas book.I am sure I have some others that fit in the category, but that is 12 books so far! I also have some other books to read that are in series I have started, but not necessarily a summer theme. I need a kick start!

I started! I read Christie's Beach House Beginnings novella. I have the next 3 books stacked & ready to read!

OK, I read the first full book yesterday! Stayed up till 3AM & had to work today, but I couldn't stop reading!

I am a dismal failure on my goals, but I did read a lot of books! The only ones on my above list were the Beach House books. Oh, well!

Oh, OK, I thought this was the last wk. I still have time to read the books I mapped out!
