I also liked Pieces of Sky although the violence content was a bit too high for me.

Jo Goodman also writes some good Western HRs that I've enjoyed.

My first and absolute favorite is . I've read this book so many times, I know it by heart and the pages are falling out.

I read only a few Westerns and my favourite so far is Savage Thunder.

Yeah I just reread Forgiving recently and really enjoyed it.

I will have to try Lorraine Heath sometime, I guess. I have been checking out these recs on kindle and they're not all available e.g. The Outlaw Hearts. I suppose some of them are older books and they haven't been made available electronically. :/

Yeah. It's from the 80s. I really wish Rebecca Brandewyne's books were available in ebook format as I've read and loved so many of them :(

Soem Heath books are on kindle but not the Rebecca Brandywine. I've noticed some other oldies but goodies that I see recced aren't always available either.
