Unfortunately you can only read one of them for new author as the rules say you can only complete the bonus categories once per team member.

Then I'm starting Wicked Lovely (Wicked Lovely, #1) by Melissa Marr . Which will be an author I've never read before. Not sure where I'll go from there. But I'll figure it out.

About 25%. I'm happy that I got the BR for it so I'm willing to wait to read it.

I really wanted to read The Hundredth Queen so I have high hopes. I got it as a prize in another group so I'm REALLY happy that I don't have to buy it now. ^-^

message 28: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 41 comments I've got a little bit left in Chronicles of the Black Company (The Chronicles of the Black Company, #1-3) by Glen Cook I almost dnf'd it, but I'll see if I can pull through. Then I have Calamity (The Reckoners, #3) by Brandon Sanderson coming in on Wednesday. Not sure if I'll use that as my last book in a series or for one set in the US.

message 29: by Liz (new)

Liz Kujak (lizkujak) Hey everyone! I'm kind of used to how this works and I'm not sure where to enter in the page # I've read. But I am thinking I could do these-

*Read a book that is over 500 pages. (Heir of Fire)
*Read a book set in the US, Canada, or the UK. (Any book pretty much)
*Read a book with a yellow cover (must be 50% of the color). (replica)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I am devouring The Hundredth Queen (The Hundredth Queen, #1) by Emily R. King which is unusual as it's an e-book and even if I really like the book I hate e-book formats and hence read slower. At this rate I might even finish it a few hours! :D

I'm sure I will. I have yet to read a Brandon Sanderson story I did not enjoy. He was even able to fix the mess that Robert Jordan made of his saga.

It's been a while, so they all kind of blend in. But I really enjoyed like the first 3 books. I barley made it through 6-10 and stopped reading them until I knew there would be an ending. So Sanderson's last 2 and Jordan's first few are the ones I really enjoyed.
I've thought about rereading some of them, but the thought of Nynaeve pulling her braid every other sentence puts me off...

message 40: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments The pulling of the braid was annoying, but Nynaeve was actually one of the few characters I consistently liked. Elayne one the other hand...I read them all last year (into this year) and an now working on a blog post about them all.
