Anyone know of any novels where Ghosts can hurt or kill people on a large scale instead of just a haunted house, like a haunted city for example, or even worldwide hauntings?

There's an urban fantasy series called Downside Ghosts, that starts with this one: Unholy Ghosts. It has horror elements but would not technically be a horror series, more noir mystery and drug-addicted ghost hunter in a world in which ghosts are rising (almost) out of control.

Thanks Crowinator, I enjoy UF as well, and don't recall reading any involving ghosts, will check it out.
