Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 140 comments The Year of Secret Assignments is SOOOOO good! It's the best of the series, in my opinion, and can definitely be read as a stand-alone. There's a 4th book in the series, too: The Ghosts of Ashbury High, which was a lot more... gothic than the previous books.

I don't know if you want to stick with YA, but the Boy series by Meg Cabot is told in emails, mostly: The Boy Next Door, Boy Meets Girl, and Every Boy's Got One. They're actually fairly clean... more chick-lit than straight romance... although I couldn't really tell you what makes it seem that way. They're just lighter and fluffier, I suppose.

Oh, and I just thought of another one.... What was it called.... Perfect Strangers. It was an email/pen pal one. Cheesy, but CUTE! I don't THINK the other three in the series were epistolary though.
