Where are we off to next or are we hanging out in NZ for a bit so everyone can catch up and have a breather?

I do have a book to read with an umbrella on the cover if it works for everyone to do the detour...I’m good with pausing if needed too

I also have a book with an umbrella but am happy to go with what ever the team wants.

The pacing of a book a week is fine with me but I guess getting ahead doesn't work for everyone.

Just finished the book. I'll be adding the book now.

Man, I can't even keep up with the one book a week pace.

I am behind as this book is soooo slow. I will be wrapping up this weekend though.

I’m good with taking a break. Is a week off good? For the next stop I do not have any books for the detour. So can we do a spell it out? Or I can just read a random book.

A week off would be great, and a spell it out is fine with me.

I've finished the second E book, so if nobody else has one I'll fill in the spot on the spreadsheet.

Maybe with Christmas and your Thanksgiving coming up we should allow at least two weeks for each stop till the end of the holidays?

Finally finished: The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison - author's last name completes the "A."

Finished Rapture in Death by J.D. Robb for a book published on the 3rd of the month (which I know is pretty late already).

I actually haven't read a book for this round yet. I was talking about the last one. And all letters are taken already so should I use a letter used by someone who read more than one book or wait for the next round? I have much more free time than normal for a few days since we have no classes.

Great Eunice. I don't think Jenny has put in our finished spreadsheet for the 3rd books so that gives us more points. I read for the E and W in the last spell it out so if you have any books that fit you can take one of mine.

So, the choices for spell it out next week are BRAZIL or BOA VISTA.

I think either will give us equal points so does anyone have a preference? I don't mind either.

That's interesting, Chava. It's not my usual genre and I quite liked all the alternate points of view leading up to the final reveal. I haven't read Gone Girl but my husband dragged me to the movie and I hated it. Seems that readers either like one or the other of these two books and it seems we fit into that category.

I started my O book but it's almost 800 pages so it will take a bit. I am traveling next week for American Thanksgiving so I may not be checking in as often.

Sometimes it’s really satisfying to tackle that door stopper Lexi. Happy Thanksgiving to all in the USA. Enjoy your time with family and friends and don’t eat too much, lol.

The "V" is free unless Eunice wants to claim it but she usually just adds a book she has finished so probably good if you want to read for that letter also.
