I am delving into the book right now!

I may start this today or tommorow since I had the can't pick a book up feel last Thursday and it's delayed me reading another book like always so will try to get into this either tonight or tommorow

I want to get to this too, but i haven't read a single page for a couple weeks now and can't see myself actually starting this :( Hopefully i'll snap out of it soon and join a bit later though

Through chapter 3.
I think what I love about this book is how immediately (and easily) I am immersed in the characters and their stories.
Nothing special happened just yet - okay, maybe a couple of minor things - but it is just the right pace with the right content! I think I will read a couple of chapters still today, I am talking advantage of all the time I can reading today!

I did a bit of research last year to see everyone's thoughts on it and apparently this takes the focus to romance I believe and it seems the case in the blurb also I'm really interested to see if the book gets into the the story more deeper since the first book introduced us to the world and the different things happening in the six duchies so that what I'm hoping to see here hopefully

I am through chapter 4.

I hope the romantic focus will be tackled the right way! But I am in love with the book already.
I am going to write a statement that will be used against me at a later stage: Britain's and Hobb's stories pull me right into the story. And I did not expect Hobb's writing to be able to do that for me! Priceless!

This is an amazing book by one of my favorite authors. Enjoy. I'll join if you guys do the third in the series some time.

I am through chapter 8 - and I am in absolute love.
There is a pace and a beauty in the story and the telling of it. It is just magical, light yet full of content.

I am also love with Verity and Kettricken; while I hope Molly will grow more on me.

I wish I had a couple of days off to dedicate myself to the book entirely tomorrow. Sigh, work interferes with this beauty!

I've finally started...kinda I've just read the first couple of pages and I like how it's acting like a previously for the book since o think i read AA in march or something I don't remember and I needed a reminder will be interesting to see where it goes

And now sleep since it's really late hahaha

I was so tired last night I did not make any progress.
I cannot wait to resume reading!

Iam like 100 pages from the end and things started stirrin up in the last couple of chapters. It's been a tough read for me. I really like the story, world and characters but it dragged for me through half the book. I feel like it would've been much better and flowed smoother if it was like 2-3 hundred pages shorter. Nevertheless its picking up pace in the last chapters. Can't wait to see how it unfolds

Jarek, you were totally right. The book is significantly slower in the middle - I still enjoyed it all though! - and it picks up in the last third. I am through chapter 27

I am in absolute awe with the story. I did not expect (view spoiler)[ Verity to die. I actually had a difficult moment there. Thankfully it is not entirely true so I can imagine book 3's plot is going to be Fitz finding Verity. (hide spoiler)]
I am loving Kettricken also. If anything, I find that this book is an ode to her and her strength. I cannot wait to read more about her.

(view spoiler)[ It is also very difficult to see the King in his status. An old man in pain and imprisoned by his old body with a strong spirit. That really breaks my heart and it feels so human, so normal, so contemporary that this was one of the most difficult aspects to deal with in this book! (hide spoiler)]

Aristea the ending will blow your mind:D Ive Just started the third one and it Has a slightly different feel for me. I hope it doesn't drag as much as the second even though its 990 pages in my edition:D

Thanks for the tip Jarek! Now the only thing I want to do is go home and read! :D I hope to finish the book today though - and despite my willingness to start immediately with book #3, I think I will give WoT#1 a go first and then see whether I have time to delve in book #3!

Wot#1 is already behind me and it was a pleasure reading it:) starting the second one in September. Can't wait:)

I am going to read WoT#, primarily because WoT #2 is scheduled in September. I think I am more consistent in my reading if I know the group is reading. And let's be honest, WoT is a classic fantasy story and I should give it a go!

No doubt about that:)

Jarek, you were so right. That ending is a 5 stars ending, absolutely impressive!

I am tempted to keep going right away, badly but I will resist. I will though try to start reading book #3 sooner than I anticipated! Hyped!!
