Lifeline Theatre in Chicago is staging "Sylvester" in September and October. I saw the staged reading last year. It was faithful to the text and very, very good. If you want to post about it on our Goodreads page, please feel free! Here is the link to the theater. Christina Calvit is my favorite adapter. She has done three other GH's in the past, as well as Austen, Bronte, and Vanity Fair. I saw 47 plays last year alone, so I am a tough critic. And as an Austen and Heyer fan, I'm even pickier!
She also gave her cell phone number, but I'm not comfortable putting that on a public message board. But I'm sure if you message her, she will give you all the details!
Edit; she has said she will respond on this thread as well. :)
If anyone wants to contact me about this theater or the play, please feel free. The staged reading last year was great fun. I know the full production will be worth a trip to Chicago for any Georgette Heyer fan.
