Feminism was never about men hating and never will be. It is about fighting with the "system". It is a belief that women should be allowed the same rights, power, and opportunities as men and be treated in the same way, or the set of activities intended to achieve the state: " She had a lifelong commitment to feminism" btw synonyms is human rights.
Because is called feminism doesn't meant that must be or is men hating.
I try explain that different way :
1. The advocacy of women's rights on the basics of the equality of the sexes.
2. The theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes.
3. The belief that men and women should have equal right and opportunities.
4. The doctrine advocating social political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men.
FEMINISM IS ABOUT EQUALITY AND EQUALITY INCLUDES MEN.
Latin fēmina is “woman”.
Charles Fourier, a Utopian Socialist and French philosopher, is credited with having coined the word "féminisme" in 1837.
"Fourier was supporter of women's rights in a time period when influences like Jean-Jacques Rousseau were prevalent. Fourier believed that all important jobs should be open to women on the basis of skill and aptitude rather than closed on account of gender. He spoke of women as individuals, not as half the human couple. Fourier saw that "traditional" marriage could potentially hurt woman's rights as human beings and thus never married. Writing before the advent of the term 'homosexuality', Fourier held that both men and women have a wide range of sexual needs and preferences which may change throughout their lives, including same-sex sexuality and androgénité. He argued that all sexual expressions should be enjoyed as long as people are not abused, and that "affirming one's difference" can actually enhance social integration.
Fourier's concern was to liberate every human individual, man, woman, and child, in two senses: Education and the liberation of human passion."
So you see this word is older then the actions relate to this word.
And please don't mistaken Feminism with Misandry.

You insist on conflating political and vocational as I have said before some feminist are political some are not. Most are liberal as we believe in equal treatment for everyone and that people should have the freedom to chose.
We feminist are people sharing the belief in equality firstly to address the oppression of women but it has evolved to cover other aspects such as non-binary life choices.
