A World Without Sun discussion

Azel fallowed Zane to his house.

Zane smiled back at Az. "I promise Dad won't hurt you again."

She nodded and squeezed his hand, "I trust you," she fallowed him inside. Her stomach twisted at the smell of steak. She hadn't told Zane she was a vegetarian.

"What's wrong?" he asked seeing how sick she looked.

((I don't get why she's a vegan))

((She just is))

She forced a smile, "nothing's wrong."

((ik but she loves plants!))

Zane nodded, "So my room or want to meet dad?"

Az blushed, "what we do in your room?"

((Animals have feelings))

((so do plants))

"I have comics." he said and blushed at how nerdy it sounded.

She grinned, "cool! Let's go!"

((Would you rather her not eat anything?))

((noo....wait Fate doesn't hv to eat. Ha I win))

He smiled and took her upstairs to his room.

Az fallowed and entered his room. "Wow," she gasped as she looked at the posters on his wall.

Zane blushed and rushed to take the comics off his bed, "Sorry."

She sat down and looked up at him, "for what?"

"The mess." he said.

She shrugged, "I don't mind," she looked around his room. Her eyes landed on his book shelf, which was covered in comics. She gasped and ran over. She took one and looked threw it, "wow, the art work is amazing," she said in awe.

Zane smiled at her, "Let me guess you've never read a comic before?"

Az blushed, "daddy said it wouldn't be good for me," she bit her lip, "considering what I am.."

"What?" He frowned, "That's crazy talk."

She shrugged and flipped threw the pages, "it's fine.."

"No its not. Your like a superhero and these are like your intruction manuals."

Az smiled, he was so dorky, "if you say so," she shrugged and put it back.

Zane smiled and hopped on his bed, "You just need a superhero name."

She sat next to him, "fate isn't a superhero," she corrected him, "but ok."

He grinned, "Well Fate as a superhero name is pretty lame. SO is flower girl." he teased.

Az laughed, "flower girl? I sound like I'm in a wedding."

He chuckled, "okay. You have any ideas?"

She shook her head, "not really, no."

He nodded, "Well I'll get one for you eventually. THink of it as a birthday gift."

Azel giggled and nodded, "alright."

Zane smiled and looked at her, "When is your birthday?"

She shrugged, "couple months."

"Good. I have time." he stated and played with her hair.

Az blushed as he played with her hair. She looked at him curiously.

((I think the comic book guy is a perfect match for her :3))

"What?" he grinned.

Az shrugged, blushing softly, "nothing," why was he so nice to her..?

He pinched her red cheek,playful. "Nope theres something Azel."

She jumped, "what? What makes you think that?" She rubbed her pinched cheek.

"because your blushing." he smiled.

"I'm not aloud to blush?" Her chest tightened, was that her voice? It didn't sound sweet and innocent at all. She hoped dinner would be done soon.

Zane's heart hammered around in his chest. "i-i yes. sorry."

She giggled and kissed his cheek.

Zane blushed, "um..let's go see if dinner is ready."

She nodded and jumped up. She took his hand and led the way out of the bedroom, nearly bumping into Zane's dad.

Zane's dad, looked excatly like an older version of his son. He looked at Az, "sorry."

Az took a step back and shook her head, "my fault," she looked down, trying to hide her face.

He nodded, "Dinner's on the table. I'll be down in a second." he said.
Zane nodded and pulled Az downstairs.

Az fallowed him, not looking back at his dad. They got downstairs and the strong smell of steak overwhelmed her. She held her breath and sat in a chair.

Az watched as Zane's dad came in. He served himself and sat down.
She looked down at her plate of veggies and sallied.
She flinched at his father's voice, "aren't you going to have some steak?"
Az looked at the chopped up animal and her stomach wheezed. She could see the cow's life flash before her eyes. She looked at the man and shook her head, "no thank you."

Zane glanced at Az and took her hand gently, wishing she would tell him what was wrong.

"And why not?" He asked offensively.
Azel looked down, "I'm a vegetarian...."
He stiffened, he never understood vegetarians. What was the point!?
