Can't wait.

It was an enjoyable enough story but it would have been much better told from Glotka's perspective and then included his treatment at the hand of the Gurkish to see his tra..."
Yes! I felt that way too. I enjoyed Glokta's pre-crippled bravado, but I believe Mr. Abercrombie is holding on to more Glokta stories, including the transformation, as an ace in the hole. Here's hoping it sees the light of day.

"Wrong Place, Wrong Time" -- OR "The one with all the micro stories from Best Served Cold in it"
Started last night and currently on chapter 6. Good flow to the story thus far, hoping to see more old favorites in there (Cosca), and interesting to see the pre-tortured Glotka.

The Fool Job, 1*. I was bored to tears. I should have liked that a lot more given it was Craw, Wonderful, Never and characters I've generally liked from the other books but holy shit was I disinterested and bored.
Two's Company. 4.5*'s and by far my favorite story. I couldn't help but picture Margret playing the role of Shev while (view spoiler)
LOL you must have loved reading this one!

Some desperado 2*. I'm burning out on these. The stories just aren't interesting enough and his quirky writing style is losing it's appeal.

I would have opted for chlamydia. BTW if you get the chance watch I'm Sorry on USA. Somebody from my wife's work recommended it and we watched the first episode last night. So inappropriate and funny.

Now I'm definitely intrigued. I'll have to see if I can watch it here somehow, I'm kind of behind the times on my television sourcing
I'm done. I have to say I'm so happy to be done with JA. I don't think I'll get to Shattered Seas for a long time. I'm burnt out on his writing style.

The second half of Heroes was good. Even with the characters I was pretty frustrated with the first half.
Done now.... sigh. Basically pointless is how I feel about that installment. I. WANT. THE. FALL. OF. GLOTKA!!!!! Goddammit just fucking package that up and mail it to me already Joe.

JA is writing a new trilogy set 30 years after the trilogy and 15 years after Red Country. All new characters with a smattering of the old. I'm sure we'll see the first Magi. Book one won't be released until all three are completed. I like that approach as compared to the Martin/Rothfuss/Lynch method.

How can anyone truly wish Glotka to fall? He is all that stands between the Union and ruin!
Should be a torture-tastic time :)
