Hi Cinderella,I am new to Goodreads as well. I had a Finnish penfriend for a few years back when I was a teenager and Finland still holds a place in my heart. I read two books by Arto Paasilinna: The year of the hare and another about a bunch a people getting together on a bus trip through Europe on a suicide mission (I remember bursting out laughing while reading it in spite of the dark matter the book raised). Don't think I ever heard of other Finnish writers, but this one is very special, I think.
Anyway, hope you find many books to read! Looks like that's the place to be for that!
Hi! Yes, I have been reading many Finnish books, they can sometimes be really funny. I used to study Finnish at the University too. My first native tongue is Swedish, so I have read some Swedish literature as well. Nowadays I read mostly in English. Thanks for welcoming me to the group!

I am a Swedish speaking Finn, I studied English at the University of Stockholm. Now I live in Finland again. I have always loved reading and Goodreads has helped me reach my reading goals. (Even though I don't always make it lol)... I love books and reading, writing and I have a little library at home. I'm a very slow reader but I love reading challenges. I hope to find many books to read and have fun posting here. Ta!
