Hi, I came across this book 218 Facts A Writer Needs To Know About The Police
when I started researching my current novel in progress, and was pleased to find an in depth guide (by an ex-police inspector) that covers all aspects of crime writing (UK law/police procedures). Kevin N. Robinson has also written British Police and Crime Directory for Writers and Researchers 2015 and although I haven't read it yet, I'm sure it would be useful too. I think they would both be an ideal resource for the UK author, and for authors outside the UK who set their books in Britain.
