The YA Book Club discussion

Did anyone find the last two books and the characters (Eadlyn) annoying?
Personally, i was in despair about the change of protagonist....
what do you think?

When I was reading The Heir I did kinda feel that Eadlyn was annoying. She just seemed so selfish and wrapped up in her own appearance not to notice anyone around her. But I like how through the second book she finds it in herself to become a better person and see her own flaws. I think the different perspective really brings out how different it is to grow up royally rather than being married into it. Plus with all the political changes in the kingdom there are bound to be conflicts and barriers. I think Eadlyn handled it very well in the end. But I will always love the first three books the most.
