Lately I spend more time looking for a good book then reading, help! What's your all time top 3 favs. Mine would be; Halfway to the grave, Magic Bites and Mercy Thompson. So help anyone.. Everyone PLEASE

I too really enjoyed the three original series you started this post with by Andrews, Frost, and Briggs.
Beyond those the other series that were "unstoppable reads" for me are The Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep (note- Love this series but not a fan of any of her other work); The Walker Papers series by C.E. Murphy; The Bitten/Bite series by Jennifer Rardin; and The Skinwalker series by Faith Hunter...hope these help you or others!

I loved The Vampire Academy series. I read all six in 3 days.

Simon R Green's Nightside series.

It is the best paranormal series I have ever read.

I enjoyed the Moira series: MOIRA: ABDUCTION TO AKRASIA and MOIRA: FLIGHT FROM AKRASIA: Just when you thought it was safe to go home.

The fourth book is coming out sometime next spring and it is driving me crazy. This series is what got me hooked on Southern paranormal.

That series looks pretty interesting. Thanks for suggesting it. I might have to check it out.

I'm going to suggest the Obernewtyn Chronicles. I've only read the first three but there's about a million of them so if anyone wants a long series they should check them out.


Also, the Throne of Glass series (there are 2 out, a 3rd out in September and a collection of short stories)


And, even though it's maybe a bit cheeky, I would love if you could check out my Shadow Weavers series. The first 2 books (Hummingbird and Nightingale) are already out and the third is on its way.

Hummingbird is YA paranormal and urban fantasy story about a teenage girl, Naomi, who discovers that not only does she have special powers but she's the first to do so in 50 years. The 'Shadows' - dark spirits determined to cause chaos - have broken through into our world again and only Naomi, with the help of her shadow guide, the handsome and playful Jesse, can stop them.

I really enjoyed . I found the world interesting and the main character, Jane Yellowrock, was a nice change from the standard UF protagonist.

I loved Vampire Academy as well. It's a great series!

I have way too many sagas to battle through before I choose a top 3 but I have a top 1! This isn't one of the newer series that are flying about at the moment, but this one pretty much started the whole romantic vampire trend. So if you haven't read them already, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles are beautifully written.The Complete Vampire Chronicles There are 10 of them however :)

The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning is AMAZING... MUST read. First one is

I loved the Mercy Thompson series and the Dante scale bribe series if you are into paranormal they are great
