What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

You say it was about Tudor princesses, but mention War of the Roses, which ended when Henry Tudor (King Henry VII) rose to the throne. Do you remember which princesses the books were about? Were they all Tudors or could there have been a York or a Lancaster among them as well? Did all three princesses live at the same time or were they from different generations?

How much of the narrative was about this modern girl? Was she a major character or was the plot mainly about the princesses? How did they communicate and what did she tell them? And was the modern girl the same in all three books about different princesses?

Kerstin Gier's precious stones trilogy does not fit the description at all... It's about actual time travel and the main characters have no contact with any princesses.

Is this a girl or a woman? I think of a girl being a teenager, and a woman perhaps 20+.
