Men 1-50 are all lined up. You must now eliminate 40 of them.![]()
Below are their favorite colors.
Pick one color to keep.
Blue
White

Read a book with a cover that has at least 50% of the color you pick.

Men 1-10 are lined up. You must now eliminate 5 of them.
We asked all the men what they enjoyed more on a first date.
Which would you prefer?
A) Going to the movies: read a book that has been turned into a movie or TV show.
B) Traveling to an exotic location: read a book that has been translated into multiple languages.

Men 1-5 are awaiting your next elimination.
You must eliminate one man per round from here on out.
There are five doors in front of you with numbers on them. Choose one to eliminate.
#1 (Read a book that is written in first person POV.)
#2 (Read a book that is second in a series.)
#3 (Read a book that is a standalone.)
#4 (Read a book from your "To-Be-Read" list.)
#5 (Read a book that a Goodreads friend rated 5 stars.)

Four men left ... three more have to go ...
We asked the remaining contestants to tell us what their favorite hobby is. Pick one to eliminate.
Reading: Read a book that has a 4 star rating or higher on Goodreads.
Running: Read a book with a cover that is outdoors.
Video Games: Read a book with a cover that is indoors.
Racing: Read a book that has any type of motorized vehicle on the cover.

Men 1-3 are all that is left.
Each has a favorite shape. Choose one to eliminate:
Square: Read a book that is tagged Mystery or Thriller.
Rhombus: Read a book that is tagged Paranormal.
Circle: Read a book that is tagged Contemporary.

The final round. After this, you will finally meet the last man standing.
One of these men would like to spend time with you going to a sporting event or watching the game on TV (awesome snacks included, of course).
The other man would like to spend time with you doing a project together (that birdhouse won't build itself, you know).
How would you like to spend quality time?
A) Watching Sports: read a book that has the author's last name initial in the word SPORT.
B) Working on a Project: read a book that has the author’s last name initial in the word MAKE.

Your match awaits behind a closed door. You walk slowly to the door. You reach out your shaking hand, grasping the the doorknob with white knuckles. The door creaks open ... and there he is!

1. Mary, Cracking the Shell of the Bookish Egg
Fictional Location: Longbourn, Hertforsdhire, England
Playing for: Boy, Friendship
I don't have a lot of friends who share the love for books as much as I do and I often feel out of place. I may not know who wore it better on the red carpet or who's dating who, but I do know my books and the characters I love (and love to hate), and their story.
Warning: I am so shy and awkward however, just crack that shell and you'll get to see Mary.

Game 1:
Green → Exotic → #3 → Reading → Circle → B → And the Winner Is ... !
