Bad endings as in poorly written endings or bad endings as in sad endings?

If you like action/political intrigue/powers I think giving Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard a shot would be worth a try. It has a cligghanger ending but there are 3 books so far so you can read and enjoy... hope that helps!!
