Thank you Denise. I loved Tere Michaels Faith & Fidelity books with Matt and Evan (not Griff and his dude). I hope this one is good.

And if you want to BR Lost and Found by Sloane Kennedy, I’m down

LaurLa | 3923 comments Chelle - thanks for the picks! I don't see a post with your pciks actually made it (I'm guessing it didn't save right) but I found them in your own bookshelf post, so I'm really glad you updated there :-D Looking forward to Against the Odds and I've never heard of Kay Hooper, so that might be an interesting new read. Thanks, again!!!

Works for me! :D
On that note, I'm gonna go get the BRs for next month going...

My picks for you are

Spell Cat (The Aloysius Tales, #1) by Tara Lain Groomzilla by Tere Michaels and for bonus picks: Cut & Run (Cut & Run, #1) by Abigail Roux Leo Loves Aries (Signs of Love, #1) by Anyta Sunday

Honestly I didn't love the first Cut & Run Book but by the 3rd book I loved the characters. Leo Loves Aries is a cute, fun and humorous book.

Sorry DG. Aletha Romnig is an author I can't read after that Consequences series.

The Heir Apparent by Tere Michaels was an okay read (3.5 stars). It was rather predictable. And I am guilty of looking for another Matt and Evan magic in all of Tere Michael's work.

Sunshine✰✰✰ | 687 comments Finished my first book.
A Pinch of Murder (A Frosted Love Cozy Mystery #2) by Carol Durand, Summer Prescott 10/1/17 ★ ★ ★ ★

I liked this better than the first one. Missy and Chas are so cute. Awwwwwe! :-D Quick read. I finished it in one day and look forward to then next one.

WOW. So sorry. It looks like my picks post never did post. I'm glad you found the picks though. I really like Kay Hooper. It's a Romantic Serial Killer series.LOL

I finished The Meaning of Everything The Story of the Oxford English Dictionary by Simon Winchester by Simon Winchester and really enjoyed it. An amazing story of how the Oxford English Dictionary almost didn't come in to existence.

I started Curiosity Thrilled the Cat (A Magical Cats Mystery, #1) by Sofie Kelly and then realized I had already read it before - doh! Not sure I'll get to my other suggested book but plan to read it in the future if it doesn't fit in this month.

Denise,
May I please substitute El Diablo (The Devil, #1) by M. Robinson instead of Complicate Me (The Good Ol' Boys, #1) by M. Robinson

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 621 comments I've gone way off script this month! At least the books are on my original list ;)
I read I'll Eat When I'm Dead by Barbara Bourland (finished 10/08/17 ***) for my Litsy WhoDunItByMail book club.
Then I devoured One Dark Throne (Three Dark Crowns, #2) by Kendare Blake . I give it *****. I loved it! It came off hold at the library and I just HAD to read it.
I'm now reading Final Girls by Riley Sager because it was calling to me.
I'll probably read one of my choices, Asylum (Asylum, #1) by Madeleine Roux , next.

Denise,
I’ve read all my selections
The Heir Apparent by Tere Michaels (3-Stars) Lost and Found (Twist of Fate, #1) by Lucy Lennox (2-Stars) El Diablo (The Devil, #1) by M. Robinson (1-Star)
Not a great reading selection but thankfully you helped me knock off 3 books (and series that I won’t return to) off my shelf

message 72: by Chelle_Rydz (new)

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 621 comments Finished Asylum Asylum (Asylum, #1) by Madeleine Roux last night. ★★1/2 - ★★★ It was OK, but I felt it didn't live up to its potential. I was not scared at all and eh teen angst was a bit annoying. I still may read the others. I actually enjoyed the prequel novellas better. The Asylum Novellas The Scarlets / The Bone Artists / The Warden (Asylum, #1.5, 2.5, 3.5) by Madeleine Roux

Yikes. It seems I have outdone myself in terrible selections this time. But at least we suffered through one part together. XD

message 74: by Karen ♐ (new)

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 2365 comments Finished both my books. Really enjoyed It Had to Be You (Chicago Stars, #1) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and I loved Fighting Redemption by Kate McCarthy even though I needed tissues a few times while reading!

message 75: by Sunshine✰✰✰ (last edited Oct 25, 2017 06:00AM) (new)

Sunshine✰✰✰ | 687 comments Finished my 2nd book.
Necroscope (Necroscope #1) by Brian Lumley 10/25/17 ★★★★★

This was a reread from almost 20 years ago. I loved it then and still excited with it now :-D

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1920 comments I only got to one of my books this month but I'm still planning on reading the other two very soon.

I finished Fight the Tide - 4 Stars
