Favorite ways to celebrate the autumn season? Trips you'd like to take in the fall?

Before we do, please take a minute to send healing thoughts and prayers to those affected by Harvey, Irma, Jose, Maria and hopefully that's it for the season already!!

Sssh! Seems quiet out there. Ahhhh!

Anyone making a fall trip anywhere? Do tell. One day I will get to a few spots I've been wanting to visit during the fall, hopefully in this lifetime!

I want to go for a scenic fall drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway but my people are resisting, lol!

I've been to Salem and it's a lot of fun! I did go in October but we didn't make reservations early enough so had to stay in a crummy hotel in Peabody. Next time I want to stay at a place with more ambiance. I know I'll have to make reservations MONTHS in advance. Last night I told my husband we should plan for next October!!

Yes, many are probably doing that very thing, NicoleG. Making reservations for October 2018.

When I'm finally able to go, I shall get with you for lodging suggestions. ;-)

I would love to stay in a B&B. We stayed at a chain hotel in Peabody and it was really annoying since we kept getting lost LOL I really dislike Peabody now!

It happens, NicoleG. Similar had with us during a trip to Williamsburg. It was one of those vacas where things happen one after another. Arrgh.

Well, what made it so annoying was we KNEW where we had to go but couldn't find the way to get there. We saw the hotel but there was no way to get to it unless you went all the way up this road then you had to turn and get on another road and THEN you got to the hotel. It was like a maze!!

Not good when you're in an unfamiliar location and don't know the way 'round the area.
