Challenge: 50 Books discussion

Hello, super readers!

As we're nearing the end of 2017, many of you are either nearing completing your goal for the year, or have already achieved it. Yay for you!

Since we're getting to that time, I've created the "Finish Line 2017" folder for anyone who wants to move their list as they finish for the year. You don't need to move it, and you are definitely welcome to keep reading! The folder is just a way to keep everything tidy and for anyone who wants to have the thrill of saying they've crossed the finish line for the year :)

To move your list when you're ready, click the little "edit" link next to your discussion thread's title. On the next page, in the folder drop-down box, select the Finish Line 2017 folder, then hit save. You can still add to your thread once it's been moved, and any bookmarks to the thread will still go to the proper discussion.

I usually go through all of the lists in the first few months of the next year, and ones that I can tell are done for the year, I'll move them for you (So if, say, in February, I can tell that someone's 2017 list is complete and won't be added to anymore, I'll move it to the "Finish Line 2017" folder for them.). Again, they can still be added to, and bookmarks will still go to the correct place, so you don't have to worry about your list getting lost.

Must have done something wrong! Tried following the guidelines in your post but I have now completely lost my 2017 list...gone from the alphabetical listings but not available in the Finish Line forum!

Ok, now I see it at the very bottom of the listings for alphabetical order, down there by itself. Is that what should have happened?

If you mean that the Finish Line folder is down at the bottom, yes, that's where it should be. If that's not what you meant, could you please let me know more?

But you do see your list (right?), so that's the important thing! :)

I also followed the instructions and mine is gone. Don't see it anywhere.

Mairzi, I can see yours in the folder's list, and have been able to see Susan's since she moved it.

Right now, I have the Finish Line folder sorted by last updated, and Mairzi's is #2 down the list and Susan's is #5.

Maybe try to refresh the page? I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to see it.

I've begun moving completed 2017 threads to the Finish Line folder for 2017. I've only moved the lists of those who have either started a new list for 2018 already or who are no longer members of this group.

You can still add to the lists, they're just now sitting in the "Finish Line" folder, rather than the alphabetical folder they used to be in.
