Last read-a-thon, we introduced a fun game: You’re not good enough.

This time, we’ll play it again, but with less violent categories ;)

How it works

1. You’re on the bachelor/bachelorette an you’re down to these two characters, which one are you going to give your rose too?
Kate Battista from Vinegar Girl or Hattie Hoffman from Everything You Want Me to Be. I would choose Kate she seems a little more mature.
2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you? Britt-Marie from Britt-Marie Was Here or Captain Marvel from Captain Marvel, Volume 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More. Britt Marie - she seems to be a care taker at heart.
3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique? Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice or Piggy from Lord of the Flies. I would have to say Mr Darcy, the kids just don't seem to like Piggy.
4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be? Locke Lamora from The Lies of Locke Lamora or Nicholas Young from Rich People Problems. I think Locke would be pretty creative and have a better show.
5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
Lois Clary from Sourdough or Mark Watney from The Martian. Gosh this is a hard one but think I would have to choose Mark, I have never met an astronaut.

Gansey (The Raven Boys) or Inej Ghafa (Six of Crows). I think I'd have to go with Gansey because he's high up there on my "top 5 fictional YA guys" list.

2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies. Which character is most likely to comfort you?
Verity Price (Discount Armageddon) or Shahrzad (The Wrath and the Dawn). I'm going with Shahrzad because she would understand the feels tales inflict, and because she strikes me as being better with comforting people than Verity is.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique?
Starr Carter (The Hate U Give) or Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice). I honestly don't think Mr. Darcy is sociable enough to be popular, so the obvious choice here is Starr.

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?
Lila Bard (A Darker Shade of Magic) or Rishi Patel (When Dimple Met Rishi. Rishi Patel, without a doubt. I can definitely see him being an absolutely adorable booktuber who draws fanart for his favorite pairings and characters.

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
Kaz Brekker (Six of Crows) or Dorian Gray (The Picture of Dorian Gray). Kaz, definitely. It's not that I think Kaz Brekker is less likely to backstab or murder me at any point on the vacation...it's that I'd have more fun with him and likely get to participate in some great heists along the way. (He'd also probably manage to snag us a pretty sweet hotel room.)

Amos from Leviathan Wakes or Snow White from Fables, Vol. 1: Legends in Exile. Both are kick-butt, no-nonsense character types, but Snow is a little too high-maintenance, so Amos gets the rose.

2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you?
Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings or Stephanie Plum from One for the Money. Aragorn doesn't strike me as the type to care about issues that aren't life and death, but Stephanie Plum would pick up a couple of pints of ice cream and some doughnuts on the way over to watch sappy movies and commiserate.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique?
Percy Jackson from The Lightning Thief or Iko from Cinder. Probably Iko- she likes pretty things and even though she's not "designer" herself, she's got more than enough personality to make up for it.

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?
Gavril from Lord of Snow and Shadows or Thursday Next from The Eyre Affair. Oh my lordy, Thursday Next would make the most fascinating booktube videos. I would watch the heck out of her booktube channel.

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
Zaphod Beeblebrox from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Don't get me wrong, I love Hermione, but Zaphod sure knows how to party, and if my bestie just cancelled on me, I'm going to want to make sure she regrets it forever.

Warner from Shatter Me or Scarlet from Scarlet. I'm going with Warner!

2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you?
Clary from City of Bones or Aelin from Throne of Glass. That's a hard one, because Clary would be more the comforter, but Aelin is a reader too so she would understand ... I'm going with Aelin.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique?
Ron Weasley from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or Bella Swan from Twilight :DDD They are both not popular, but I'd say Ron.

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?
Will Herondale from Clockwork Angel or Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows. Definitely Will! That'd be my new favorite booktuber :D

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses or Jon Snow from A Game of Thrones. Ohh no, can I bring both? I love both :D I choose Jon Snow, Idk but I think we would have lots of fun.

1. You’re on the bachelor/bachelorette an you’re down to these two characters, which one are you going to give your rose too? I got Prince Lír from The Last Unicorn or Sherlock Holmes. I like both, but definetely Prince Lír is more romantic, so he gets the rose. Sherlock could be more interested in solve a mystery than on me :D

2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you? I got Passepartout from Around the World in Eighty Days and Jon Snow from A Game of Thrones. Hmmm, probably Jon Snow is maybe more the comfort type ... I don|t know, but when I think of Passpartout is more for tell me jokes, not sure if I would find comforting that in a sad situation.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique? Between Anne from Anne of Green Gables and Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games, probably Anne. I think he is too shy.

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?Kaz Brekker from Six of Crows or Sean Kendrick from The Scorpio Races. Definitely Kaz! Sean is so quiet, that probably he would just stare at us :D

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?I have to choose between Eric Northman from Sookie Stackhouse series and Hermione Granger from Harry Potter Series. That is difficult, although I would enjoy a lot the company of Eric, probably I would not remember any of the place we visited ... so Hermione, maybe. I guess she knew everything about the place and could explain everything ..... hmmmmm..... Eric!!!!

My choices are Agnieszka (Uprooted) or Rosie (The Rosie Project)

This is actually a pretty tough choice, since both are awesome characters. I also don't know how the bachelor works in terms of giving roses, but I assume that means the person I want to keep. I think I would have to give the slight edge to Agnieszka.

2. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character is most likely to comfort you?
My choices are Kady Grant (Illuminae) or Warner (Shatter Me)

Neither are the most sympathetic character. Although both have a softer side, I think Kady is more like to comfort someone.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique?
My choices are Molly (The Upside of Unrequited) and Will Traynor (Me Before You)

Just knowing what high school is like, probably Will. Will before his accident definitely would have been popular, and I think even afterwards, people would have still been drawn to him as kind of a "bad boy" type even if he was mean. Molly is an awesome person, but unfortunately high school kids tend to be mean so her weight might be an issue. Although if I had to pick who I would hang out with, definitely Molly!

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?
My choices are August (This Savage Song) or Alison (Strong Female Protagonist. Book One)

I would watch both of them, although both are trying to keep parts of their identities hidden so I'm not sure what direction their channels would go. Alison is a former superhero trying to be normal, and August is a monster with a talent for music, but he wouldn't be able to play for his channel. I think I'd probably give the slight edge to Alison, but it's a close one.

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
My choices are Captain Thorne (Cress) or Griffin (History Is All You Left Me)

Definitely Captain Thorne! He would be a lot more fun to take on a trip than Griffin. It's kind of funny that this was the question Thorne came up for though, since he so easily applies to several of the others.

My Choices are: Cinder from Cinder (obviously) and Rose from Doctor Who: The Stone Rose

Well, in all honesty, neither relationship is likely to work very well here but I would have to pick Rose, the sweet, smart, girl next door with a sense of adventure. Cinder always seemed a bit whiny to me and she's going to be very busy being leader of planets and all, so she is just not good enough.

My choices are Locke Lamora from The Lies of Locke Lamora and Lovelace from A Closed and Common Orbit

Well that one is probably pretty obvious. Lovelace is an artificial lifeform and STILL is much more compassionate than Locke would ever be. So sorry Locke, you just aren't good enough.

3. Ugh, it’s high school. Who would most likely be part of the popular clique?
My Choices are: The 10th Doctor Who from Doctor Who: The Stone Rose and Carswell from The Lunar Chronicles.

They are both such loners so this is difficult. Carswell maybe if he had his sights set on a popular girl? So, The Doctor isn't good enough. (Never thought I would say that!)

4. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, who would most likely be?
My Choices are: Iko from The Lunar Chronicles and Sevro from the Red Rising

Definitely Iko. I can imagine her doing makeup and try on videos based on all her favorite book characters. Sevro would be too rallying Howlers to read and review books. Sevro is not good enough.

5. You were supposed to go for a 1-week holiday with your best friend, who just cancelled. Who do you chose to replace them?
My choices are Pepper from A Closed and Common Orbit and Darrow from Red Rising

Pepper would be much more fun to hang out with. Darrow is such a downer with the dead wife and the whole fighting to save the Reds thing. Just kidding I love Darrow but for a vacation, I just don't think he is good enough.
