7. Your friend borrows a book and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?
B. I'm quite vocal about bringing my books back in good condition so my friend should have already known about it when they were borrowing it. I'll also never be lending that person books ever again.

Fantasy - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (but I need the whole series!)
Contemporary - Wonder
Non-Fiction - On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft
Horror - It
I probably would try to trade the contemporary for a classic.
2. You're at the bookstore and you hear a teenager telling their mom they don't like to read, but their mom insists they pick something. You walk over and recommend a book you think is great for people who aren't big on reading - what book is it? This is more difficult than it looks, I should talk to her/him to learn her/his interest. I graphic novel, couls be also be considered.
3. You're not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which book do you read to put yourself in a great mood? Harry Potter!
4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years. What book would you most likely have caught yourself reading? Probably a school book, but I would love to caught me reading Pet Sematary. I was so scared with that book, that could be fun just seing me reading it.
5. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day trip and you have 1 hour to pack. Which book do you bring to read on the way? Whatever I am reading at that moment, as long as it is not a hardcover book, they are too heavy and difficult to take on travels.
6. Your house has been robbed! Don't worry - everyone is safe, but your bookshelf has been raided. What's the book you really hope is safe? Harry Potter series ... I mean, I moved from the other side of the world and the only thing I brought was my first five books of the series, the rest I bought them here ... so I hope they are Ok :(
7. Your friend borrows a book and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs? I don't lend books. I used to, but I had a couple of bad experiences, so not anymore. What I did on that ocassion, was option a, I didn't say anything, but the next time they asked, I just nicely told them "No". Now I avoid that kind of problem, just not lending books. If a very good friend ask me, the next thing is that that very good friend is going to receive that book for Christmas or her birthday :)

Contemporary - House Rules
Fantasy - The Time Traveler's Wife (tagged on Goodreads as both fantasy and sci-fi, so I guess it counts)
Non-fiction - Can I switch this out for another genre? I don't care much for non-fiction.
My choice (Historical fiction) - The Help

The Addams Family: An Evilution. That book was expensive!
7. Your friend borrows a book and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?
It wouldn't happen because I never, ever lend out my books. I'm also not great with confrontation, so I'd probably just keep quiet and repurchase the book myself, with a mental note never to lend to that person again.

Love & Gelato, Brave Story, The Stranger Beside Me: Ted Bundy The Shocking Inside Story, and Of Mice and Men.

6. Your house has been robbed! Don't worry - everyone is safe, but your bookshelf has been raided. What's the book you really hope is safe?
Didn't happen, they preferred my iPad. Honestly I can rebuy my fav books, so nothing I would worry too much about.
