I barely read while I'm in school, so I can't wait for graduation in May!

How to Build a Girl was hilarious! One of my favorite YA reads of recent. I listened to the audiobook, so I'm not sure how it reads, but I loved the story! I kind of wish I'd read it as a teenager.

Turtles All the Way Down was not my favorite John Green, but it was still very enjoyable! I liked his approach to writing a character with mental health issues. No glamour - just real life.

Grad school has begun again, so I'm not reading as much as I had been.
I just read The Nightingale and All the Light We Cannot See (both selections for our community book discussion), and they were both amazing! They are both World War II France stories, so they are kind of sad. That being said, I can't recommend them highly enough. The Nightingale is about sisters and All the Light We Cannot See is about a young blind woman and a Hitler Youth and the intersection of their lives.
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is a book I read for class. It is a novel based on the life of the author. Junior is a Native American teen who decides the only way he will be able to have a successful life is to leave the reservation and attend the public white school. The ten-year anniversary of the publication just rolled around and the author will be publishing a sequel told from the Rowdy character's perspective, and I'm certainly looking forward to that.
What Happened to Cass McBride? was the book club book for the night after Labor Day when no one showed because of the tornado, haha. It was a very quick read and intense! I've admittedly never read a Patterson bookshot, but I imagine it reads in a similar way.
