This book is so unbearably tedious. With the bad writing, dramatics and repetitiveness. Why am I still reading?
Oh yeah, because I don't like not go using books. Let's see how long that lasts, since I'm not even halfway yet.

Chapter 14
Okay, I give up. This has already been more than I can take. I'm just gonna skim through the rest real quick (I wanna finish it for the challenge) but I'm done.

ch 15 (view spoiler)[ Sebastian, sigh. He needs to stop blaming himself and be happy. I know he's lost people, but he has his brother and friends and Shea. And would probably be a good dad to her daughter too. He should take a break from the band or something and focus on family. And poor Austin, I hope he can get the help he needs (hide spoiler)]

finished (view spoiler)[ Okay, the ending totally redeemed this book for me. I was feeling kind of meh about it, but Callie being taken away after almost drowning, finding out Shea used to be a country singer, and that dick is her ex made me want to read the sequel! (hide spoiler)]

26% (view spoiler)[I have so many questions right now. Who is Mark and what happened to him? What did Austin do and why is he so depressed? What in the world did Baz beat that guy up over? Who is Julian and what happened to him? I have so many questions on my mind.

I like Baz. He seems to care about his brother a lot and the guys from the band. I am wondering about his parents and family life before the band. The conversation that he had with his dad was tense.

I like Shea too. She seems strong underneath all of her wariness. She is keeping Baz at bay to protect herself. I didn't expect her to have a daughter, but it makes sense with the way that she acts and thinks. I don't think that the encounter with the daughter went well, but I also don't think that Baz meant his actions to be offensive or hurtful. I think that he was just reeling off of the conversation with his dad and all the thoughts that had been plaguing him recently. I definitely think that it surprised him though. Hopefully, they can work it out. They have such electric chemistry. Oh, and I am curious about her daughter's father. Where is he and what is his deal? (hide spoiler)]

I was swooning when Baz rushed in to save Shea when she was attacked by that jerkwad in the bar. He didn't even have to think about it. He was just there. I also thought it was awesome that his friends were right there and had his back.

The connection that Baz and Shea have is so intense. It almost feels too instalove-y to me. They see each other and are both instantly attracted to each other but they don't really know each other. It just seems like the interactions that they have had don't really warrant such an intense connection. It's like it's all-consuming.

I found the morning after scene humorous. Kallie is adorable. I liked seeing Baz out of his element. (hide spoiler)]

It sucked when Baz left. It was so abrupt and he wouldn't admit to his feelings for Shea. At least he finally came to his senses and went back for her. There is still a quarter of the book left so it makes me think that something is going to tear them apart again. Some drama is definitely on the way, I can feel it. I guess we'll see. Finished (view spoiler)[Well, I didn't really see that coming. Her being a country singer or Jennings being the father of her child. I really need to know more about both. I am going to have to read the second book asap. I didn't realize that their story was split between two books. I feel bad for Kallie. Jennings seems like a real tool. And now I bet that Baz is just blaming himself over the whole thing for his dealings with Jennings. Overall, I really liked this book but some of the storytelling wasn't clicking with me. Jackson would repeat words three times for emphasis but she would do it all the freaking time so it lost its meaning. It was driving me crazy. Other than that her writing style was pretty smooth.
