How's it going everyone? I had a good start on day one but haven't cracked a book open at all today.

Holy Moly! I just update the participant links and we have 41 readers participating this week! Awesome!!!!!!

I had a great start and read 2.5 books on day 1, but read almost nothing yesterday. Started today by reading 100 pages of The Rose & the Dagger so back on track today 😊

Despite being at the theatre and ballet over the weekend, I managed to get some reading in at night. I need to finish The Flick by Thursday as the quiz for it is due that day.

I finished up The Return of the King and a graphic novel. 😊

This was a super busy weekend. I didn't get as much reading done as I'd have liked. Still, I think I'll manage to get some serious reading done either today or tomorrow. So, I'm not worried!

So far I've completed 3 books. :D

So far I've finished one novel (Shadowfever), one manga (Chrono Crusade Vol. 1), and am 30 pgs shy of finishing another novel (The Indigo Spell)
I have a lot more time going forward from today so I will be able to read even more! Excited ^^

Wow! You've all read sooo much!!! I'm a little envious. I've had a bit of a migraine for the last couple of days, so I'm hoping to get some catching up done tonight :D

The Colorado Ballet did a production of Dracula and the Colorado Symphony did a tribute to Prince. I enjoyed both of them, we didn't stay long for the Prince music thought, but I got to hear some of my favorite songs.

Migraines are terrible! I hope you're feeling better!

I would typically be reading more but I've learned that reading Ebooks on my phone makes me have seizures so that's no good for me.

I used to read on my phone, and eventually got a paperwhite and it's been my favorite device <3
Would reading on a paperwhite have the same effect? It essentially looks like regular paper from books.

No it wouldn't! I have a paper white just no internet to hook it to at my boyfriends house lol

I'm currently reading Macbeth, Anne of Green Gables, Cujo, and Hush Hush!

I’m working on the last book on my TBR! It’s a big one so I probably won’t finish it by the end of the 14th but that’s ok.

I'm debating to pick ACOMAF back up but I need to know when the pace starts picking back up.

I think I'm falling into a reading slump. Yesterday I only read 18 pages, during lunch, and then did not feel like reading anything last night. That's not like me.

Heather, I'm not sure where your'e at in ACOMAF, but I believe it was just past the halfway mark that it picks up pace and was pretty much unputdownable for me, but it's been a little while since I read it, so I could be wrong on the place!

I'm only 76 pages into it lol

Ah, well keep reading, it gets very good, then slows down a little, and it's some point after leaving a cabin that it gets amazing, imho.

Okay awesome! I own ACOWAR too so I'm trying to finish them both before the end of the year.

Reading slumps are the worst!!! Im just now clawing my my way out of one that started at the end of June!

Maybe try changing what you are reading?

I think it was Light in August that did it. I finished it but it burned me out a little (leave it to Faulkner). The Dean Koontz I'm reading is intriguing so far but I think I'm still reeling a bit.

Oh man now that I'm watching The DUFF I kinda want to read the book.

I picked up the book after seeing the trailer for the movie!

Just a heads up: The book and the movie are completely different. Two totally different stories and, to be honest, I found the book sooooo much better than the movie!

Wish me luck...Going to try to get a few books read off the TBR . My semester teaching term ended Tuesday and it's raining all day today so time to curl up with those books..they have Harry Potter on again though and that is my kryptonite to reading

I enjoyed the book a lot, but I thought was better. Kody Keplinger is pretty awesome.
