It's for Scots and Yorkies when it's time to get a round in - short arms and loooooong pockets.

Brass Neck | 3979 comments This cropped up in my FB feed which is all commendable and right in the 21st century;

https://apply.army.mod.uk/what-we-off...

But I was tickled that there are 100 serving rastas in the British Army and that they are permitted full-on dreadlocks. Wonder if they're permitted to respond to senior officers' commands with, 'Yes I'?!!

I like that they were 'attempting to have' consensual sex as if they were incompetently putting an IKEA wardrobe together. Still now they've been fingered by the law …….

No problem, Ginger ... you just keep standing on that Table! ;o>

Okay? - so I'm going to need a Stun Gun and a very large heavy-duty Bucket with a reinforced Lid that can be sealed tight and padlocked down on it! ;oO

(Ohhh, and some extra strong smelling Salts in case I faint with fright!)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Lez wrote: "I got ‘Page not found’"

You need to click on the Link in the Post that first used it, Lez Lee. For some reason, although a replied to Post will still show up a Link (in another colour and underlined accordingly) they seem to lose something to their Webpage address in being reposted and because of that they will not work.

message 1279: by Lez (new)

Lez | 7490 comments Thanks suzy, I didn’t know that.

message 1280: by suzysunshine7 (new)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments I think it is probably because the Webpage address automatically abbreviates itself on first being posted up but, although hidden, it is still there in full in the original Post.

When copied as part of a Reply Post though there is none of the hidden extra bit to it anymore - it is only the abbreviation that gets reposted and it is not enough of the Webpage address to use it as a Link anymore.

Yes, once you told me, I realised that was probably it. ;-)

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments It still gets confusing at times on here, doesn't it? ;o>

I'd noticed it a few times on the Music Threads but it took me a while to catch on - as I thought it was probably me that was getting something wrong somewhere.

I posted on ‘Snails’ 10 minutes ago with no problem.

suzysunshine7 | 16038 comments Probably a Website glitch, Isabella. I do find Goodreads to be such a challenge at times - it seems to often have periods of glitches (perhaps these are due to Website Maintenance and adding Upgrades?) and it is also apparently unable to cope sometimes with any sudden increases in the number of people that are using it. I've been locked out quite a few times now! - LOL!!! ;o>

Lez | 7490 comments A mystery to solve! Photo added to my profile.

On a recent hospital visit, I’d missed lunch and a nurse brought me a sarnie. They’d run out of egg or tuna, this was all that was left. Can you identify the filling from this photo? The taste offered no further clues to its origins and was as revolting as its appearance. It looks to me like it could be its second time around. The nurse identified it by a process of elimination from a list.
I’ll leave it with you for a while.

nc already knows this.
