LOL on your last sentence. Hahahaha!
I'm good to go.
Fine and spooky opening of story. Didn't have to wait long for something suspenseful to happen.

Mini spoiler --
I've read the entire Raisin series and it seemed to me that the author favored James Lacey for Aggie at one time (hence their marriage) and now it's looking to shift towards Charles. Anyone notice this or is it just me?
I like James for Aggie (esp. TV version -- gorgeous man!) but lately he seems so unavailable to her.

There was something about James wanting Agatha to quit work and become a proper house wife. Cooking, cleaning, ironing is so not Agatha.

I loved the dinner party. I love how the nouveau riche hostess is jealous of the vicar's wife, and love the vicar's wife's snappy comeback regarding her dress! :-)

Hear, hear about TV James!! Wow! Where has he been all my life. I always like him better for Aggie. Guess we'll have to see what happens. But I've read the entire Raisin series. It's one of my all time favorites!!

Open Discussion: Chptrs. 1 THRU 4 --
Imagine motoring down one dark country road, returning home from a dinner party when ahead in the lane, glowing in the headlights, a body hangs from a creepy tree outside of town. This is the sight Vicar Rory Devere & wife, Molly take in this autumn night. Who is the unfortunate hanging in the dark? Is it even real or a prank perpetrated by a coven of witches rumored to cavort in the area of the old gnarled tree? Don your Wellies, parkas & perhaps a hip flask of fortification while we assist PI Raisin to sleuth this mystery of The Witches' Tree!
Who's started reading? I'm a little past chapter 4 but not much. There's an introduction of quite a few new characters for Agatha to admonish LOL
