Started yesterday the first novel of a Danish trilogy Childhood; strange so far. I hope to finish it by today to think about it more clearly
I'm at the moment reading - actually listening - Mrs. March ; finding t extreamly interesting, on a feminist point of view

I have heard good things about the book Laura, though I have not read it yet. Eager to see what you think!
But I have listened a lot of her music over the years, and she is just so wildly talented and original as well as often quite strange and profane. But more than anything she definitely has the soul of a poet in her imagery and the way she thinks; it's so intense. The lyrics sometimes give me chills of pleasure!

Definitly so Greg! Liking it quite a lot, I'm actually listening to it read by the singer herself!

I was cautious about reading it because of the controversy but for me it was a 4 stars read. I like John Boyne's writing style but his storytelling covers such a wide range. This was a solid 4 stars but not quite as stunning as some of his best.

A bit dogmatic for me and not quite living up to the hype but I am enjoying it.

A light bookclub read in a setting that creates quite a contrast with Babel.
