All right, people. Let me here it. What do you think Mr. Wong is? In this chapter Angel admits to Charley that he finds Mr. Wong creepy. What do you think Mr. Wong could possibly be?

I think he is a samurai in the spirit world that was trapped so he could not warn Charley! LOL

He wasn't a Ninja, not stealthy in the slightest

With the weird glow around him I'm not sure if he's good. I'm wondering if he's a door keeper of something or a hound of hell at worst. He could be keeping an eye on Charley in a bad way. The thing is if he has this weird coloured glow around him and if I can remember correctly Reyes can see these colours why hasn't he said something sooner!?

I think he is one of the twelve of light.. And remember it was a mistake on Reyes' that he didn't look closely. Duff pointed it out to him and recognized the error..

Ooooh, good point. I was going to say, if he was bad Reyes would have known.

Agreed! I think Mr. Wong is a good one and protection for Charley. Think about the fact that Charlie was compelled to live in that building and Mr. Wong was there.... Like I said somewhere else - in 6 we got some answers but we also got new questions and riddles! I love Darynda, she sure holds your interest!

If Mr Wong was good wouldnt he have helped her out or said something by now?! With the eiry colour/ glow and tattoos im suspicious.

But, he didn't seem to concerned even after Duff pointed it out, if I remember correctly.

I somehow don't think he is all that good. Maybe he's waiting for the right moment to reveal himself.

He's waiting for the daughter to be born I think.. She is the one that will be going in to war to rescue her father from Hell.

Or something like that..

I can't figure him out! For some reason I think he's good rather than bad- maybe even one of her relatives?? And part of his roll is that he's not allowed to intervene until "the time comes" whatever that may be... I think he is very powerful though, and will eventually play a huge roll in the coming war, whichever side that may be! But I don't think he's there to hurt Charley...

that's what I was thinking but didn't want to say it in case it was a spoiler for someone. :-)

I think Mr. Wong is a powerful being that may bring Reyes some pain and I think that was what Duff was hinting to when Reyes failed to pay him attention before. He's definitely powerful and Joanette may be right, which explains why Reyes should be more careful around him but why Charley doesn't mind having him around.

On the other hand, Duff is the one that spooks me! He loses his stutter and acts really weird. Doesn't any of you get a bad feeling about him?...

I can't even begin to guess what Mr. Wong is... all I know is that he gives me the hebee-geebees.

I think he's going to prove to be very important in the story, I'm not sure which side he's on though I'm leaning towards the good side as Reyes is quite perceptive when it comes to threats to Charley but he's not threatened by Mr Wong even if he has picked up on the powerful aura around him now.

Great point Suzan! Reyes always picks up on threats. Mr. Wong is a mystery and I am leading towards the light with him based on Reyes. Duff said it was a mistake for Reyes not to notice him but Duff believe Reyes is bad or evil. I too agree Charley was drawn to the building based on Wong and that he has a future purpose but what I have no idea.
