I posted to several Goodreads groups a chance to win a Kindle Fire HD or $130 Amazon gift card for posting an honest review on Amazon. I ended up selling a lot of books (with the price dropped to $0.99 for the contest period), but only 5 people have entered the contest. You can get as many reviews just doing a standard book giveaway at a fraction of the cost.

By the way, you can still enter at http://bit.ly/1l1LjU4 With only 5 entrants so far and 3 prizes, you've got a great chance of winning.

J. Bennett (jbennett_gwbw) | 6 comments Teresa, it's still early. It looks like you opened the contest on June 29th. It usually takes me at least two weeks to read an average sized book, so I wouldn't be surprised if you get more entrants toward the end of the contest. I just snagged a sample to see if it's up my ally. Good luck with the contest!

Yes, I'll post the results here.

Teresa Tsalaky | 3 comments Was it worth giving away a Kindle to get 18 Amazon reviews? Read the conclusion here: http://bit.ly/1l1LjU4
