I'm sorry but I've been busy. I am currently reading Call of Cthulhu for short stories. I am hoping to finish it soon.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I've finished Dreamless (Starcrossed, #2) by Josephine Angelini and The Black Witch (The Black Witch Chronicles, #1) by Laurie Forest Black Witch works for debut novel so I'll put it there and I'm trying to find a spot for Dreamless.

I'll be starting The Empress (The Diabolic #2) by S.J. Kincaid Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout and Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce when I wake up don't know where they will fit yet. ^-^

Charley Girl (charleygirl9) | 678 comments I finished 2 - a cozy mystery and 5- has food on it. Still working on 16-a white cover. Started 20. Read a classic novel and 22. Read a book with a tree on the cover

Charley Girl (charleygirl9) | 678 comments I put the Pepperoni Pizza Can Be Murder (Pizza Lovers, #2) by Chris Cavender on 5. I thought we could use it for both but apparently not.

I finished Purity by Jonathan Franzen for a white cover.

I started Animal Farm by George Orwell for 20. Read a classic novel.

I started The Extraditionist (Benn Bluestone, #1) by Todd Merer for 22. Read a book with a tree on the cover

I can do Green River Killer for the second tree if no one wants it.

No worries! We still have a month and a half! We can catch up.

message 62: by Charley Girl (new)

Charley Girl (charleygirl9) | 678 comments Completed Blindness by José Saramago for 16. Read a book with a white cover

I think that category is complete. I'm on The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard, #1) by Scott Lynch for 23. Read a debut novel

Awesome! We are doing really well. I'm trying to fill some of the round 1 books so that we can finish sooner. Hopefully some of them fit where I want them to. ^-^

Let me quickly update the tracking thread and I'll let you know. ^-^

message 67: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Nov 16, 2017 05:37PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Okay so I'm pretty sure I have the tracking thread up to date. So any category that doesn't have a name next to it is free for the taking. I think we should take Slytherpuff's spots for now as well since we are moving really fast. We'll find another spot for their book later. ^-^

If you need help finding a spot just let me know. I'm pretty good a finding loopholes and looking through 20 pages of covers if need be. :)

message 68: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments In fact I think her book would work perfectly for short stories since we still have two of those. ^-^

message 69: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments The Mods allowed the change so we now have two white spots open. I'd like one for Bitter Sweet Love (The Dark Elements, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout but the other is free.

message 70: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments NM. I just realized that there wasn't a spot for one of Charley Girl's white covers anyway since Rae had one for Princess Diaries so there is no white spot open. Sorry for the confusion. :/

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I'm currently reading The Empress (The Diabolic #2) by S.J. Kincaid Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements, #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout Treasure at the Heart of the Tanglewood by Meredith Ann Pierce The Shadow Hour (The Girl at Midnight, #2) by Melissa Grey Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles, #3.5) by Marissa Meyer The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa

I don't know what I'll finish first or what categories they will work for yet. I'm going to look now to see.

I know I'll have to wait for Stone Cold Touch for the second round unless I can use the free spot.

message 84: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I think I can count the Empress for given.

KK. I've put your name there so no one else re-reads a book. ^-^

message 92: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments If no one else is reading anything for short stories I'm going to be reading The Iron Legends (The Iron Fey, #1.5, 3.5, 4.5) by Julie Kagawa by the end of the month. ^-^

message 93: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I'm also thinking of reading Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by Jodi Meadows for new release.

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

I finished The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Stories

I read around 390 out of 420 in November. This fits into short stories.

message 96: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments So I have two books for the next round whenever we get to it. Treasure at the Heart of the Tanglewood by Meredith Ann Pierce for stars and Alanna The First Adventure (Song of the Lioness, #1) by Tamora Pierce for re-read. ^-^
