Hi All, there is now an online book club for those interested in international development. We are starting with The End of Poverty by Jeff Sachs for the month of July. We are also in need of books written about development by African authors. Any suggestions in addition to Mayo?

This one is a must It shouldn't happen to an aid worker. I would also suggest The Damned Balkans: A Refugee Road Trip, which also deals with aid work in Africa on the periphery of its main subject.
