So, it turns out that Spellbook of the Lost and Found doesn't have chapter titles, it sees to have chapter names. (I had a quick peek - eek!).

So instead we're doing page numbers. Feel free to discuss anything in the book up until page 50 here. So your first impressions of the book so far.

AquaLivre | 3 comments I’m enjoying it so far. Plenty of questions and I like the different perspectives along with the lost things at the start of each chapter 🙂

Okay so I'm 50 pages in, and liking it so far. I'm enjoying the writing style, and while there's a lot of characters that have been introduced already I think I'm keeping up! I'm liking the diversity at this stage, sexuality, Olive's hearing aid - that was a pleasant surprise, something you don't get in a lot of young adult books.

I'm definitely intrigued!

Victoria Villalobos | 5 comments Seriously had to post a sticky to each of the main three voices' intros with character descriptions and relationship breakdowns. 'Cause the names aren't enough.
Agree with you, @Sarah-Jane about the diversity and representation we're seeing.
But one thing that I know I'm going to hate seeing is how the intro of Jude will affect the Laurel/Holly/Ash friendship. Because you know all three girls in love with one boy will not go well.
Bring the drama!

Victoria | 5 comments So I’m enjoying this so far! I like the different POVs even though I was a little thrown at first. I also like how we know what each one has lost at the beginning of the chapters. While I’m enjoying the writing style, I’ve found myself a little confused at some points-like it took me a while to realize where the story is set. but overall I’m really liking all the diversity- I wasn’t expecting there to be so much! I’m really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story unfolds!

Yeah it’s really hard to remember the individual character descriptions - it’s driving me mad 😂

Elizabeth (pocketeditionliz) Really liking the book so far as well even though it has taken me a few days to start it. The POVs are really interesting, though as mentioned above, kinda confusing. I'm also looking forward to seeing the different groups of characters come together (hopefully?)
