The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right
Hi everyone, I tried making an event, but I don't think it notified anyone... so I'll try the discussion board! I would like to take a poll and offer up the following books to read this month (maybe until the end of Nov)
1. checklist manifesto, atul gawande - efficiency (the power of checklists)
2. the power of habit, charles duhigg - work ethic (how we form habits and why)
3. emotional intelligence, David Walton - relationships (emotional awareness and cultivating personal and professional relationship)
4. other options???
These 3 cover different things.. so let's try to lock down a book by Nov 3?
Thanks :)

I'll recommend checklist manifesto or the power of habit. if you are structured person then checklist manifesto. but if you want to learn about your habits the second one and definitely Superhuman by Habit...

I read this just before going into hospital for major surgery... It's a great read and as it turned out I could really take an interest in what the medical staff were doing and how they worked with their own checklists. I was pleased to see that they followed much of what Atul Gawande discussed!
