Liz (liz_the_librarian) I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and survived Hurricane Arthur!

What is everyone reading this week?

Kelsey I just finished The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley—so much fun to read! I'm nearly done with American Psychosis, which is a fascinating look at the mental health system but the sections about legal proceedings in Washington drag the pace down.

I've also started The Light Between Oceans, which is promising so far, and the audiobook of Gone Girl. I'm not sure about Gone Girl...the description isn't something I would normally go for but I've gotten several recommendations for it!

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I just finished the 12th of Never by James Patterson, and am waiting for my hold of Unlucky 13 to come in. At the moment I am reading Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian, she has an interesting take on vampires. After that I plan to read the last of Jeaniene Frost's Cat and Bones books and then the Victoria Thompson book for book club (I might reread the whole series- they're that good).

My hold for Wonder came in and I started reading it during lunch today.

I am also reading Death Come Quickly by Susan Wittig Albert. I am enjoying being back in the setting of Pecan Springs, TX with China and Ruby.

Death Come Quickly (China Bayles, #22) by Susan Wittig Albert Wonder by R.J. Palacio
