What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

If she wasn't entirely human, do you know what she was? And how did the man they were going to capture know? Is he human? Any idea why they were going after him? Or where the book was set?

It's not The Rook, is it? The protagonist works for a secret supernatural spy agency and has amnesia. But the other part doesn't sound exactly right.

Okay so I think I know your book but I can’t remember what’s it’s called or find it...
But tell me if these details sound right..
-She has some kind of power, she might be a shifter I’m pretty sure, she’s strong and there’s some kind of mental power aswell that allows her to shield herself from detection..
- at the start her team does a raid and yeah one of the guys is dead? or he’s supernatural but gets detained?
- there’s also a scene at the start where the team all goes to a pub to celebrate..
- she rides a motorcycle
- she finds out that another member of her team is some kind of supernatural and she freaks

In the next couple of chapters
- there’s a meeting between her adoptive dad?, the local alpha (the romantic interest) and her? (Sorry my memory gets sketchy here)
- the dad figure is in some kind of secretive council or something?

I’ll do some searching and try and find it.. but I know I DNF because I actually didn’t like it but your description sounds pretty much like the first couple chapters which I did read..
