I don't know how this TV was totally not on my radar. I came across it by chance the other day when I was looking for a specific article on brothels in Regency England. Season 1 has only 8 episodes and there's talks of a Season 2 in the works.

Regency romance lovers this show is fantastic!!! It is in fact very well-researched, and yes of course there's a whole bunch of nudity and sex scenes but the portrayal of the women and life of the period is spot on. I'm a huge fan of Outlander, Downton Abbey and the White Queen. So if you like history and strong leading women I recommend you check it out. I stream it online on solarmovie.

Thanks for the tip, will have to see if I can get that on Netflix or from the library. I have read a lot of that era books especially the ones Phillipa Gregory wrote and found them extremely good.
