Mary Pat | 2186 comments Suggested break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're doing. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.

Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.

Week 1: 72
Week 2: 72
Week 3: 72
Week 4: 72

Sheila Is it too late to join this buddy read? I think I can squeeze it in this month after all!

Not at all Sheila! :)
I might join the discussion as well. I read it last month and really like to hear everyone else's opinions on the book.

Meagan Rupert | 9 comments I’m about 3/4 of the way through the audio version. I’m liking t so far!

Mary Pat | 2186 comments Sheila & Ilona - I have added you both to the list of participants!

Janine | 1546 comments I only just started this today, but I'm 50 pages in already. It's very easy to read and just zooms by.

I like Aza as a character. I'm enjoying the way her thought spirals and obsessive habits are described, it's quite easy to put yourself in her shoes.

message 8: by Deb (new) - rated it 4 stars

Deb (debsd) | 3 comments I finished a couple of days ago. I didn't think there was a lot to the story, but I did think it handled Aza's mental health issues very perceptively. I'll forgive quite a lot for a book that does mental health well (there are so many that don't!) so it got 4* from me.

I agree! I also rated the book 4 stars for the way it handles mental heath problems. I found the plot not interesting, basically the same as any other John Green book.

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments I started this yesterday looks interesting so far

Janine | 1546 comments I finished this yesterday. Similar to Debs and Ilona, the main positive I took away was how openly it discussed mental health and in such a clear, understandable way. I'm pleased to see a YA book doing this :)

Scott Flicker | 1191 comments Just finished it. I think the Robert frost quote in the book "in three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on" pretty much sums up the novel.
