A Long Way from Chicago discussion

I really enjoyed this book due to I enjoy the time period of the Great Depression, well more so anything historical. Upon reading the title I was not sure what anticipate but I definitely did not anticipate what I actually read. I loved following each experience that they had each summer they went to their grandmothers. I also loved that the grandmother was not seen as the "typical" grandmother but she was super sassy and spunky. Overall, this book was a great read!
