Excitement thread!
Basically leave your thoughts on the book, any predictions, if you've read a book like this before? What do you guys think of the "training" trope, you know it, main character has to learn how to fight/kill/ or in this case fly? I like it if done originally and this doesn't sound like a training story I've read before so I'm pretty pumped to see what happens.

I tend to like the training trope, especially if it is done early in the book. It is a good way to explain something about the world without being tedious. I'd much rather someone teach the MC about magic, flying, or whatever, then try to explain it to me.
