Evening all,

Onwards we go, now to Helen's theme - Music from computer/video games. I must confess, not having played computer games in some 2 decades now, I haven't the foggiest idea what to nom for this round...so, for those like me, that could do with a little help on this, I'd appreciate it if Helen could provide some pointers, thanks!

Thanks for that Tim, never liked Sleaater-Kinney much but I do have a Corin Tucker Band album. Couldn't listen to the track as we're having a week in Wales this week and I've no headphones with me.

For any fish & chips aficionados out there we highly recommend The Shed Fish & Chip Bistro at Porthgain if you're ever in the vicinity. Went tonight and voted it our second best fish & chips ever. First place goes to somewhere we can't remember the name of in Nova Scotia:-)

Hi folks,

I'm going to keep the noms & voting phases on the same thread...cos it's occurred to me that we don't need two separate threads, as the heading can be edited. Makes it far easier to check who nom'd what....and I don't have to contend with the triple damned 'I'm not a robot' thingy! It wouldn't have worked as well on Zon..but here..it'll look tidier to have one thread per week per artist, instead of two near identical (headings) cluttering up the list of threads. I don't know about you, but i'm forever clicking on the wrong ones on goodreads, as near duplicate threads blur into one another on here!

I am off to see this band next weekend, but if you are in Edinburgh or Newcastle, they are playing there tomorrow and Tuesday, reckon you could do a lot worse than pop along and see what they are like live if you have the chance.
